I found PBPhoto's settings documented in the 10/20/2021 - r47581 build thread, particularly the ones about "wireless network mode" & sensitivity rage" successful _________________ All the best,

I have always had stock on partition 1 and ddwrt (now 47581) on partition 2. I have also always reset and manually entered config from scratch. However, this is a pain each time.
Now, as I wish use each partition as a toggle solution, am I right in assuming :
If I replace stock with say 47720:
1. Can I simply flash from ddwrt (on partition 2) using the factory to ddwrt bin file (presuming) ?
2. I would not need to reset config values as my understanding is that both partitions share the same nvram ?

The factory-to-ddwrt file is only for flashing from the stock firmware. If you are doing the flashing from an existing dd-wrt partition, use the ..._webflash.bin file. And yes, you should be able to leave the configuration as-is. _________________ 2x Netgear XR500 and 3x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 53544: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
I am an Apple household and stuck at r44048 and have been following the posts on newer versions being stable. I tried r47692 as @pbphoto mentioned it worked really well for him. But though much better after a few hours iPhones started dropping connections. So then I switched to r47745 and for the last 48 hours I have had no connection issues with iPhones or iPads. So for now it appears to me at least that r47745 is gold for me! I did not change any settings from r44048 and no hardware reset - just regular firmware update on the existing partition.

<you may already know>
Just an FYI - when jumping large numbers of revs forwards or backwards you MAY need to clear nvram. Sometimes there are enough config changes that things do not work predictably when attempting to keep config settings. I know when I had to keep going back to 44048 on a 1900v1 to get a staple build, jumping back to that build eventually required a reset flash to work properly. _________________ Wrt1900acv1 r43028
Finally made the jump over to the latest firmware 47822 after a year plus on 44048 due to issues with Apple hardware. I followed the guide of resetting NVRAM and updating both partitions to 47822 with factory reset. I had to manual input back all my previous settings (I had screenshot all the important pages).
I can safely say the latest firmware works on Apple products again! iPhone, iPad, iMac, Macbook (all updated to the latest firmware)
Thanks all for testing and really appreciate the community feedback!
I am ready to upgrade from 44048 to 47822. However, I'm not sure of any special steps or special configurations I must do. Can someone provide me with this information? When I read this thread searching for the information, my not-so-smart azz gets confused. Thanks!!! _________________ Linksys WRT32X | DD-WRT v3.0-r51937 std (03/05/23) | macOS Ventura

You may want to dump nvram show output to text file and/or take webUI screenshots, but your build is years old.
Upgrade directly r49544 or later, leave the dropdown option alone so keep "Do not Reset" selected and be patient.
Confirm install then Factory Defaults or Telnet/SSH as root to "nvram erase && reboot" then manually reconfigure.
