I have a couple of devices that need wired connections to my LAN but they are in a different room than the primary router. I figure I could use use a secondary router to provide wired connection for these devices. The secondary router is Buffalo WHR-G300N version 1, running dd-wrt v3.0-r44715 std (11/03/20).
Based on all my reading, especially this article: https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridged. I should set the secondary router to the Client Bridge mode. The problem is that in Wireless -> Basic Settings, for Wireless Mode, there is NO "Client Bridge". There are only "AP", "Client", "Adhoc", "Repeater", and "Repeater Bridge" modes.
Is the "Client Bridge" mode not available for this router for some reason?
I tried the "Client" mode and set Network Configuration option below to "Bridged." But it didn't work. Is this even the correct choice?

It's never been available for Ralink, AFAIK. I doubt if you even updated to the current release (47822), that it would be there (but you surely can try and find out).
Thank you for the tip. Using Repeater Bridge with no virtual interface seems to be working. I actually used this mode before upgrading to 3.0. I don't know if it was because I set up a virtual interface or not, but the physical side kept losing connection to the primary router. One difference in 3.0 is that there is no channel selection for the physical interface. Perhaps that made a difference also. Anyway, hope this solution is it.
