Is there any way to block ipv6 only on wifi and leave ipv6 on only for the computer connected via lan? Maybe by using access restriction?

My reason behind this is I need ipv6 on my pc but I also need qos on my system. When ipv6 is enabled, qos doesn't seem to work. Not uncommon, I have seen this behavior on other router firmwares. Basically, I want to qos the wifi by forcing all devices on it to ipv4 instead of ipv6, without disabling ipv6 completely, if there is a way to turn it off for certain devices somehow.

@zig123 Hi there Wink

So have you tried to disable IPv6 on a per machine basis NIC/WiFi adapters?

Windows you can right click the adapter and uncheck IPv6 and Linux depending where it is its a toggle/checkbox also maybe in separate tab n the managing software.

Access restrictions isn't for any of this, its either blocking LAN machines from WAN access or filtering specific services, I dont think it would work anyway.

Take care now.

@the-joker I appreciate the help! I am a bit new to this forum and firmware but I am trying to learn. The devices I am trying to bar from ipv6 support are devices like the roku which will eat up bandwidth and/or fight for packet priority so it needs to be managed. Anyways, I will disable ipv6 for now. You take care as well!

Controlling how IP addresses is distributed by LAN's DHCP server might also work, for example, you can stop distributing IPv6 addresses for the WLAN interface?
