47495 on all but one orphan device that I won't have hands on until tomorrow. All have been up since flashing after the builds completed on the alpha server (~11hrs)

Router/Version: TP-Link TL-WR841ND v10
File: DD-WRT v3.0-r47695 std (11/29/21)
Previous/Reset: r47644 / web install, no reset
Mode/Status: WLAN Client Bridge (routed) / AP
Issues/Errors: none so far

for my needs (and after some settings corrections) the build r47695 seems pretty stable for this router!

just a note.. i think there's some html glitch somewhere for some weeks now (at least in every build i installed).. in Administration\Commands there's a little glitch between the command shell textbox and the form buttons.. seems an ending of a HTML comment (maybe not opened).. i didn't reported this in my installed build because this is recurring..

anyway, thanks for all your work and support!

I am on 47745 without issues across the board, save and except that I only have one device that is still on 47495 that has 60+ days of uptime only because I have not had time to flash updates on it and I am very selective on what I flash.

D-Link DIR615 E4 updated to 47745 from 40750. Running really well for last 24 hours as a client bridge. Stability is key for me so only tried the upgrade when I had time to fix any issues - so far none.

Rather crucial to this router the builds are smaller again - factory to firmware were huge and broken for a long time. When I have more time I'd like to try installing from the router's Emergency Room. If that works I can ditch some of my notes about older builds to install before doing an update.

Build sizes have gone smaller again with latest builds, so always check if its possible to upgrade to latest, known security issues have been fixed in libraries and other 3rd party components and including kernels and other bugs if you use Access Restrictions (with filtering telemetry) + firewall also has been fixed, in these cases firewall was not working. Yep I spotted that bug and had to fight to get it fixed though I didn't realize the extent of the issue I just noticed that firewall was not logging anymore, but that was one symptom of the bug, turns out it was bigger that that.

If your routers are WAN facing then, its a roll of the dice weather you are exposed to some exploits while surfing, if routers aren't patched you may or may not get affected and youll never know in time until its already happened. Openssl wise again latest build has the latest CVE fixes for Openssl that may allow command injection CVE-2022-1292.

Your routers your choices. Maybe you trust unicorns are guarding the gates and are gonna save you, good luck with that.

I'm currently on 48810 on applicable devices. My favorite numbers are 0 and 5, but it looks like I'm going to have to add an M if the dust doesn't settle properly soon.

I always use the last available updates, for any routers i do have...you can see the builds number in my signature...sometimes, i don't have an access to those units or i don't see any reason to update, as services i use, are not affected by the updates..mostly, when security updates or kernel updates are available, than i tends to update those, that i haven't updated for a while..

the small size routers i own are:
TP-link WR740Nv1 - 4MB flash size RAM / 32MB working RAM
TP-link WR1043v2NDv2 - 8MB flash size RAM /64MB working RAM

Bear in mind that, 4MB flash size routers, are not made for serious use and once you start to overwhelm them, they tend to play odd...mostly with their radio(wifi) or those will hang and need a reboot...
So, to have a happy use of those, do not abuse them and always check they have at least 5-6MB working ram left..and it will not get less than 2-3MB...
Also bear in mind, those small size ram units have very low specs like CPU, for example and those are not made to sustain a heavy use..so those will be good for your grandma use style but not for heavy wifi streaming, lots of wifi clients using AES encryption or using pppoe WAN interface...
Later models may have a better CPU but its still a single core CPU not made for heavy abuse...

We have a "metric ton" (sic) of these similar supported devices in inventory and/or deployed, and they get updated when a 0 or 5 last number drops, whether alpha or beta, OR when key patches are applied, and that is generally the *only* time I disregard the 0 or 5 rule. I just don't have the time to report on every single model. TL-WR1043Nv5, TL-WR1043NDv2, and TL-WR940Nv3 are all on 52485, will post reports when the next 0 or 5 drops, or ~1 month down the road. Quite honestly, the purpose of this thread is rather moot since it still suggests vulnerable builds without key patches and other important fixes, and things can't get fixed if there's no feedback on current releases.
