QoS in AP Mode

Curious if anyone has enabled qos when the router is in AP mode, and changed the interface to LAN & WLAN?

I’m having some latency on the 2.4 ghz radio under load and am wondering if that might help at all. I have qos enabled in my gateway which is the edgerouter, but I would turn it off…
