Searching for router firmware on DD-WRT router database returns an old and obsolete build. As intended?

Example:
https://dd-wrt.com/support/router-database/?model=R7000_v1

DD-WRT Factory image factory-to-dd-wrt.chk 2020-11-03 25,63 MB

DD-WRT Webupgrade netgear-r7000-webflash.bin 2020-11-03 25,63 MB

v3.0 [Beta] Build 44715 - old and obsolete build but shown as the most recent build. So..

==========================================================

New build is based on 2021-11-18. Let me know!

If you are searching the router database page, we know it's not the most recent build. Read the FR&G that @egc posted, and there is a screenshot of the page that shows the disclaimer that was added that was obviously overlooked by you. We have no control over the router database, and the database only gets updated when an agreed upon stable build is found for ALL supported devices. That's something we cannot change.
