Hi guys,

When I was travelling a few years ago, an airport was providing Wi-Fi access through certificate that had to be downloaded in advance.

I would like to reproduce this authentication method from a WRT3200ACM. I am not sure if this possible with DD-WRT. I have started to setup something with Freeradius on DD-WRT, but now I am stuck. Confused I would like to connect an iPhone to this network, but I can't figure out when it comes to the certificate part on the client side.

Any tutorial/guidance available?

I am thinking you went down the wrong rabbit hole. Client mode and using 802.1x/EAP wireless security is probably where you should be looking...
