I have a Linksys Router -WRT3200ACM
Running DD-WRT v3.0-r47528 std (10/10/21)
ChromeCast (3rd Gen)

I'm having trouble getting ChromCast to work. It was working when I first got this router and was on DD-WRT firmware v3.0-r44715 - 20201103.

Most of my devices are 2.4 GHz so I'b basically using WLAN1 - the 2.4 GHz one.

When I do a factory reset of the ChromeCast device and try to set it up it seems like it's going to work. It gets the Chromecast device connected to my WiFi (WLAN2) then it tells me that my tablet cannot see the device:

Step 1: Disable Access Point/AP isolation ...
Step 2: Enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) ...

I had some Chromecast Audio devices that were PIA. If you have your 5ghz radio on and it has the same SSID as your 2.4ghz, and the chromecast sees the 5ghz radio as a marginal signal - slightly weaker than the 2.4ghz - then it will initially connect to the 2.4ghz radio, run fine for a little bit, then try to connect to the weaker 5ghz radio and stop working. In DD-WRT, I setup a wifi mac filter to prevent the chromecast devices from connecting to the 5ghz radios.
