Just to let you all know the next build will fix some of the issues with classic themes, especially around help pages which have been going sideways lately.

There are other areas which should show improvements/fixed
    * Syslog error message red on gray text was unreadable due to low contrast (also changed colors a bit)
    * Disabled fieldsets (todo buttons and others)
    * Hovering over some tables tr like in Access restrictions filters fieldsets
    * Some buttons alignments and characters.
    * Help pages; because we are working on styling them by classic fresh/fresh dark themes, already works with Inspired themes, so breakages happened some were invisible to users, some not so.
    * Worked around missing help pages leading to 404 error page for a better UX https://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/7478 (am looking for volunteers/community members help with the help pages/contents)
    * Fixed access restrictions summary when dark, this was half broken for years.
    * Fixed some popup windows width caused scrolling horizontal, elements like submitFooter were wrong width no matter if you made window bigger or not.
    * many more hidden changes.

I hope in any case that everyone will now start to see things moving on themes side and generally speaking to anything related to these areas, so there is that.

Carry on. =)

Looked like a major overhaul for the WEBUI and help information ... which is good! Smile

A great deal just invisible stuff for everyone, all themes should now be OK by -r47556+

Many issues fixed but in respect to the help portions its missing a great deal, missing 4 help pages outright and other entries for other features.
Its not something I can do by myself unless you tie me down to the chair and not feed me or water me, it may end up being done, but so will I...

Also managed to shave a few bytes here and there which is always nice.

I don't have the time to hang here very much due to my job changes...but I have to say...you're doing some great stuff. Keep up the great work.

That goes for all the Moderators too. I still check in now and then and will try to help out when possible...but my time is generally required elsewhere now....sorry for slacking.

All good, @redhawk0; we appreciate you. Folks do not understand that there are some folks hard at work on things because they *do* have the time and they would rather focus on what bothers them than the overall picture and the good. But I will still contribute openly and not-so-openly here despite their disposition using the very freedom that they have been so up in arms about. Sad they aren't making more of an effort to contribute or jump in and engage to help the community at large openly here on the forum.

Thank you guys for the great work! Since you seem to be focused on polishing stuff now, I've two suggestions:

1) "Additional SmartDNS Options" textarea, like what we have with Dnsmasq options. Why is it that one has a way to manually configure things and the other does not?

2) Predictable USB mount points: We currently have "magic" mount points that mount whatever hard drive the routers find to unpredictable places. It would be nice to have a way to say "I want disk with UUID XYZ mounted to path /mnt/data".

I frequently run into issues where after a reboot my external disks mount-points change and transmission/others don't work properly.

Thank you!

There is a script for that:

But I can understand your request.

Yeah I'm currently using parts of that script in my startup commands but it would be nice to have it build in that UI. Makes it easier for everyone, also avoid module dependency issues and timing issues.

Thank you.

Router/Version: Netgear R6250
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r47528 std (10/10/21)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.287 #4177 SMP Sun Oct 10 04:06:45 +07 2021 armv7l

When I prepared one USB in linux with gparted 3 partitions (sdd1 swap, sdd2 opt, sdd3 jffs), and insert then boot DDWRT, try auto-mount, it works only with Read-only mode.

So I try fdisk /dev/sdd in different linux, then mkfs.ext2 for sdd2&3, still works only with Read-only mode.

I wonder the USB function trouble in R47528 now ?

Or currently it mounts /jffs only internal, and /opt & swap on external usb ?

But in the histroy it can be NOT read-only mode.

Code:
root@DD-WRT:/jffs# mount

sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw,relatime)
