For me, no device connects to the 5 GHz network of the WRT3200. Unknown channel is displayed in the status. Has someone had that before? Do I have to switch the expansion channel from ll to uu, had read times that it is inverted with BCM or has it already been fixed.

I changed the channel because some channels have apparently been deactivated since the last update of the Raspberry PI4.

Code:
pi@home: iw phy phy0 channels

Band 2:

   * 5180 MHz [36]
     Maximum TX power: 17.0 dBm

Disable "Allow Channel Overlapping", for one. You can't use LL on channel 36, perhaps, for two.

@kosmos

you should listen to what experienced dd-wrt users tell you and not ask the same question twice

the option should definitely not be activated, it is for experts who are definitely familiar with the frequencies and channels.

the option allows invalid channel configurations that are not supported by most clients.

(if channel overlapping is disabled)
there is actually no selection, there is only one correct extension channel per WLAN channel

configure your router correctly then the question about wrong channel configurations is unnecessary

Allowing channel overlap does not matter to me whether activated or deactivated I can select all extension channels LL, LU, UL and UU, so I wanted to know what the standard is so that I can set it that way.

The point is if you disable allow channel overlapping you don't have to select any extension channels at all
or does it work differently for you than in the video shown?

In addition, I have already linked you everything worth knowing about it

In the link are all valid channel configurations

It really does not matter what you can select (for extension channels). It doesn't matter if you configure your wireless in the right order. What matters is you are purposely ignoring the fact that for a selected channel (36), there is only one option for extension channel (UU) for 80MHz channel width.

I have the issue where the channel reads unknown on the 5GHz radio if I select the option on for "single user beamforming". If I unselect it, I get a proper channel displayed. I have the 1200AC though and it is on an older release, 43443. It has been an issue for me form a couple years, but at least I know what causes it (for me anyway). I would check that option though under the Wireless tab --> Basic settings subtab --> then click the advanced options on the 5GHz radio.

Thanks for that input. I would have to double-check and do some research, but I don't think Marvell even supports beamforming in DD-WRT, whatsoever? Can someone offer up some clarification here?
