Hello. Please help with debricking my tp-link TL-MR3220 v.1.2 (not tl-mr 3420)

I tried to flash it into dd-wrt. Flashing process went well, nut router started cyclically rebooting. (cannot boot)

I think it happened because I forgot to turn off the firewall on the computer:

Here is what I did in the process.

1) connected router to PC via cable

2) from web panel switched the wifi of the router off and then rebooted

3) from cmd did ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew

4) from webpanel chose factory-to-dd-wrt.bin file and pressed to upgrade

the process went well, but the router went into cyclical reboot mode (cannot boot)

As i said, may be it happened because i had forgotten to disable firewall on the computer.

Please help to recover my router!!

Hello

You maybe forgot to reset your nvram before upgrade and bricked it,

See https://forum.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Recover_from_a_Bad_Flash or https://milankragujevic.com/restore-a-bricked-tp-link-router-with-tftp

That is if you havent done this already.

beware you have v1 and v2 of that router, flashing the wrong version will also cause such issues.

I will move this thread to Atheros as it seemingly posted in wrong forum and why you haven't received any replies so far.

Thanks you and be well.

Here it is on the OpenWRT wiki: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-mr3420#hardware

Just scroll up a bit on the page. It is the bottom of the previous section.

The link says MR3420 but it discusses both 3420 and 3220.

Both of you failed to ask which build number was flashed. This does matter as there are broken firmware images from time to time as well... and if people don't flash and report and give all applicable information, we find ourselves in a circular repeated discussion about the same issue over and over. Counter-intuitive, counter-productive. It wouldn't surprise me if this problem is covered in another thread already...
