OpenSSL version 3 is released

Looking forward to the implementation of v3. Hope it can be done with minor effect to apps. My VPN service is still loading 1.1.1l as of today.

As with all new releases, it is sure to have some bugs. My vote would be to wait until that happens before implementing it into ddwrt.

From the first link: "OpenSSL 3.0 is a major release and not fully backwards compatible with the previous release. Most applications that worked with OpenSSL 1.1.1 will still work unchanged and will simply need to be recompiled"

This could end up being a lot of work for some applications too.

It will be in the next release. As well as updated dnsmasq and busybox, among other things. You're welcome.
