[WARNING]: This thread is only for feedback on this beta release for developers and the community's benefit.
DO NOT flash this beta release unless you understand the risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions! Create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI, but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. #6246
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices(only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
• VAPs not working at bootfixed for unbridged VAPs in40562 - 40566. Effective startup commandsdiscussion thread is here.
• If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay, e.g. wait script or 'sleep 25'.
• Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missing, via Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'
• Show us your findings with steps to reproduce, configuration, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• For issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark etc.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search SVN tickets & discuss in forum before opening. Before reporting: reset & manually set up, not restore from a backup.
• Please include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) & relevant configuration information.

Router/Version: Netgear AC1450
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r47305 std (09/03/21)
Previous/Reset: r47282 no reset
Mode/Status: wired access point, no gateway
Issues/Errors: Upgraded two Netgear AC1450s via web interface from wired PC using Microsoft Edge. On both the web interface died a few seconds before the devices rebooted. Neither device came back up on it's own (did not respond to PING, HTTP, or SSH). I had to physically power cycle both to get them back online. They have been working fine since. A minor issue when the devices are both in my house, but could be an issue if updating remotely. I'm also aware that the recommendation is not to use Chromium based browsers, but this is the first time I've seen an issue like this.
I should also note that the Asus RT-AC56U with a similar architecture and similar config upgraded without issue. _________________ __________________________

Upgrade: Failure, and failure again. Disable unbound and disable internal JFFS, then flash success, all done in Firefox 91 under linux.
Temperatures CPU 76.9 °C / WL1 56.0 °C
Load: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00

One more thing, if play youtube with 720+, no matter how config in unbound.conf, it is definition that R6250 cannot play smoothly, so return DNSCrypt Resolver instead of unbound.

Router/Version: Netgear WNR3500L v2
Kernel: Linux 4.4.282 #11560 Fri Sep 3 04:37:04 +07 2021 mips
Reset: No
Mode: Internet gateway, WIFI AP, Dnsmasq
Issues: Poor WAN performance on stock CPU frequency. I'm start check problem and I have startlog dump and other log files in attachement.
Status: Working
Uptime: Actually ~30 mins and earlier many hours on this build.
Device is updated via ssh. It has poor WAN performance on stock CPU clock (~ 250 - 260 mbit/s download speed). I'm start to check problems and I have logs in attachement. Startlog have many bugs. I see length of firmware file is higher than earlier. That's unfavorable in this model. Generic performance is worse.
Router/Version: R7000P.
File/Kernel: netgear-r7000p-webflash.bin
Previous/Reset: 08-01-2021-r47117, no reset
Mode/Status: Gateway (PPPoE), DHCP, YaMon3. syslog-ng (opkg). Samba server configured but not used.
Issues/Errors: None observed. Download throughput is nominal. Samba now allows public (non-password) access.
Uptime at this point 1 hour.
EDIT: At some point SMB stopped working. Uptime is now 3 hours.

what you think is a bug is a diagnostic output. if you dont understand what a message means, dont declare it as bug. just ignore it and better do not watch diagnostic infos at all if you are not able to handle them. all these messages are totally normal. there is a good reason why these messages are only visible on the serial console. for everbody else, syslog is useful _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Really you think all that alerts are normal ? I'm wonder why device that have 480 MHz CPU and it's fully gigabit feature can't provide me 300 mbit of internet connection ? Router make many many unnecessary operations during start and work. It's simple answer, why performance is weak. What other users think about this ? I have plan to skip to other firmware. Situation is that and I think the OEM firmware will be better. I don't know why you write posts in rude tone ?
