I noticed when looking in the DD-WRT web interface at Status > LAN > Active Clients that list doesn't seem to be in "real time." I see clients in there that I don't think have been online for a few hours - I need to do some more testing to nail that down, but wanted to ask real quick as I jump in if anyone happened to know how long something should stay in that list after it's turned off/disconnected from the network. Thank you! _________________ Router: Netgear R7800

only active clients are listed. it shows only entries of the current arp entries of the router and these are cached for about 1 day. and its only updated if you view the page. there is no background automatism. so if you watch the page at a time a client isnt active, you wont see anything. you also wont see bridged clients unless the client is communicating the router in some way. simple rule, what the router doesnt see, cannot be shown. and if your printer just communicates with your pc and with nothing else which passes the router lan->wan. its not unusual that its hidden. lets assume you are connected by wifi and your printer by lan. then all communication acts bridged and the router never gets notice of the device based on its arp table
