Hi,

Using latest build. Status Tab -- LAN my devices with an IP less than .100 are not listed in that table/chart.

192.168.1.105 is listed.
192.168.1.5 (and several less than .100 others) not listed.

Is this normal ??

It would help if we knew which router and what build you're running as well as what your dhcp range is and other configuration information. If you post screenshots, please no wider than 768 pixels, if uploaded as attachments; you can link higher-resolution images from an image hosting site.

Please take a few moments to read through the forum rules and guidelines Arrow

Are you using static leases or any special configuration? It would seem if you are if your start IP is x.x.x.200 and you have 50 allowed.

Hi,

Yes I have about 6 static leases set up.

The three under .100 do not show up in the list.

The three above .100 but less than .200 do display in the LAN list.

Hi,

As a test, I changed the static IP of one of my devices, a printer, to 192.168.1.130 from 192.168.1.3

and now the .130 displays in the Status -- LAN list/table.

I didn't see anything blatantly obvious in the page code that would cause this; I've contacted the developer. Please ensure that you are using a separate browser to access the webUI and not the same one you are cruising the internet with; No extensions loaded, private / incognito browsing mode.

Hi,

I spent some time this morning trying to observe more specifically....

UPDATEs:
The printer I changed to the 192.168.1.130 IP, did show up for a few minutes. After it went to sleep, the IP is no longer shown in the Active Clients List.

If I wake up / use the printer, it still does not reappear in the Active Clients list.

I also changed the IP (now 192.168.1.135) for my Canon MX922 printer. It never shows up in the Active Clients list. It prints just fine using the new IP.

I switched to FireFox browser to display the dd-wrt control panel as you suggested. No differences can be observed.

Its almost as if Active clients only wants to cosmetically display a certain number of clients; one of which is the external IP for eth0

Thank you again for your time & assistance !!

only active clients are listed. it shows only entries of the current arp entries of the router and these are cached for about 1 day. and its only updated if you view the page. there is no background automatism. so if you watch the page at a time a client isnt active, you wont see anything. you also wont see bridged clients unless the client is communicating the router in some way. simple rule, what the router doesnt see, cannot be shown. and if your printer just communicates with your pc and with nothing else which passes the router lan->wan. its not unusual that its hidden. lets assume you are connected by wifi and your printer by lan. then all communication acts bridged and the router never gets notice of the device based on its arp table
