I flashed a Ubiquiti AirRouter which requires activation.

The Activation Center Requires you to login with a Username/Password.

For the life of me I cannot find anywhere on the site a place to register for an account so that I can activate my device(s).

Am I now stuck in DD-WRT Trial mode on the router?

Did you purchase a license and get an email?

After I posted this I fumbled through the convoluted web site and finally got to the page for purchasing a license.

I'm not a business so I have no intention of giving them $22. I sent an email to them and asked about any possibility of licensing for a lower cost or free. OpenWRT is not recommended for these devices due to low RAM.

I have a Netgear RV6400v2 that doesn't require activation but it looks like a chore to flash it and I was hoping to not go down that road.

I don't understand why some routers require buying a license and others don't.

I think this is a dead end anyway as I don't see that the firmware supports OpenVPN. Oh well, I'll just put AirOS back on the devices and sell them and buy something that will meet my requirements or flash my Netgear router.
