Is there a way to block access to my LAN network from a specific range of wireless clients while in gateway mode?

I tried searching for this feature, but all solutions I found requires router mode.

My router is a DIR-880L.

Thanks in advanced...

It can only be (easily) done when the Wireless clients are on their own subnet (i.e. on an unbridged VAP)

If everything is on the same subnet then traffic is not going through the router is is just acting as a switch.

P.S. always state router model and build number see the forum guidelines

Sorry about that, I am using r46380.

I was trying to create a guest network but without having to switch to router mode.

For a simple guest network for your wireless you do not switch to router mode (at least I do not).

Attached my personal note how I setup a VAP Smile

Thanks a lot! It's up and working!

Is there a way to send an e-mail or webhook when a client connect to this VAP?

Probably, DDWRT has SMTP to send mails has SNMP for monitoring and even has Zabbix (do not know if that is present on your build)

You have to research all that or hope someone chimes in who knows Smile

What about implement the VAP on my secundary routers, they don't have WAN connection at wan port, they are directly connected to my primary router. All devices are 1043ND, one with build 46446 and the other with 44213. I tried the same procedure you told me, but there is no internet connection on VAP.

Thanks.
