I have a WRT54GS v2 that I wanted to open up, yet I haven't been able to get the front cover off. I tried pushing on the feet, using s screwdriver, everything. I JUST CANNOT GET THE DARN COVER OFF! There were screws under the feet which I did remove. Is there anything I can do to get it off?

Never mind, with enough force, the front came off somewhat violently.

This applies to all WRT54* series from my experience.

It doesn't just come apart (very easily). Just be careful not to damage the PCB. I have taken them apart without using any tools to pry with. Interestingly enough, the WRT AC series devices are similar in teardown.

Any way to make opening it a bit easier?
