Since this feature / button was removed, what is the proper way to execute this task "manually"?

This is what you can try from my best guess of what is changed when that function was still present:

Setup -> Basic Setup: WAN mode "disabled"
Setup -> Networking: Check that vlan2 is assigned to br0 and ensure WAN port assignment is disabled.

I have not taken the time to look further into this on any of my Broadcom devices. I guess having that extra port could seem critical to some. Thanks for bringing this topic up again for discussion, maybe we can come up with something that works Twisted Evil Cool

NOTE: This would be Broadcom-specific, because all other platforms do not have a functional Switch Config tab yet.

Hi,
I'm trying also to perfom this operation after installing r47206 mega on WRT320N. But I cannot see the "Setup -> Switch Config: Assign to bridge "LAN" " option. This is missing as per the attached picture. Is there any work around ?

You need to try a CTRL+F5 (or ⌘+SHIFT+R on Mac) first; if that doesn't work, then you need to clear your browser cache; if that doesn't work, you need to do a hard reset as there are only supposed to be vlans 0, 1, and 2 visible with a default config. If none of these suggestions resolves it, then I will have to contact BrainSlayer.

As far as what you need to do to assign the WAN port to switch on more recent builds, all you *should* have to do is disable the WAN port as vlan2 should automatically be assigned to br0 in the webUI after you click "Save".

Hi,
No luck with the recommended procedures.
Still no visible options to choose following VLAN 0, 1, 2 at Switch Config.
My settings:
Basic Setup » WAN Connection = Disable
Advanced Routing » Operation Mode = Router
Switch Config » Empty table since no VLAN 0, 1, 2 options
Networking » WAN Port Assignment = Disable/ br0 (tested both, also vlan2 doesn't appear at the options list and at the Current Briding Table Interfaces like in my previous version r14289).
Am I doing something wrong here ?

I guess I have to correct myself or something here; ALL you should have to do is disable the WAN port and the rest of the settings will do what they should (This feature wasn't needed in the past).
