Enabling TurboQAM (QAM256) support on 2.4GHz is still an issue. Some clients can't fully connect.

"MLME: assoc request" results in "Could not set STA to kernel driver" - seems to be the failure when the option is enabled:

Linksys EA8500:

Jul 8 16:28:40 Linksys EA8500 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx MLME: auth request, signal -51 (Accepted)
Jul 8 16:28:40 Linksys EA8500 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: authenticated
Jul 8 16:28:40 Linksys EA8500 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx MLME: assoc request, signal -51 (Accepted)
Jul 8 16:28:41 Linksys EA8500 daemon.notice hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: Could not set STA to kernel driver

Again, as per my past posts, it seems this bug was introduced after v.02-06-2021-r45690

Routers: Netgear r7800 and r7500v2
Firmware: DD-WRT r47033 from r46974
Reset: No

Used a WDS system. Working fine so far.
ddwrt drivers for wifi
NAS Truenas operational
USB could not install with r46974 so have not tried on r47033. Mounted but had trouble with FS ntfs and extfat. Do not want fat32.
Wireguard operational.
Thank you BS. Really appreciate the work you and your team provide.

Temperature: CPU 56.899 °C / wlan0 47 °C
Status: OK
Issues: None

Issues:

Tested on the Linksys EA8500.

I added 2 VLANs (6,7) but it looks like additional interfaces were created.

Code:
root@Router2:~# ifconfig | grep vlan
vlan1     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59
vlan2     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59
vlan3     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59
vlan4     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59
vlan6     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59
vlan7     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 14:91:82:7F:27:59

Although when I ran the "swconfig" it shows the correct VLANs created.

root@Router2:~# swconfig dev switch0 show
VLAN 1:
        vid: 1
        ports: 0t 2t 4
VLAN 2:
        vid: 2
        ports: 0t 5
VLAN 6:
        vid: 6
        ports: 0t 1
VLAN 7:
        vid: 7
        ports: 0t 3

As mentioned in the previous build (r47000), every time I do a reset using the GUI or Shell the swconfig tab disappears. It only shows up when I install a new firmware without resetting. This happens on this build and the last few firmware's that I tested dating back to the May build. This also happens on my Netgear XR500.

I also lose access to the router (shell and GUI) when I try to add VLANS after a reset. As soon as I add a VLAN and hit apply, I lose access to the router. I need to reset the router in order to access it again. Perhaps it has something to do with the GUI showing lan ports on VLAN0 while in the CLI lan ports are on VLAN1. See attached picture.

@ian5142 Is this on DD-WRT or Vanilla or both?
