Summary
There were still error messages about ksmbd and wsdd2. I suspected there were more error messages after recent changes (due to CTF??).
process_monitor was started 2 times based on the process id, and 3 time-sync change.

To be fair and scientific, you have to open up the chassis of the router and use a IR thermometer gun to measure the chip's real surface temperature. Then you could assess the delta readings deviation. But these guns might still not be not very accurate.
The function could stay as long as we remember and accept its "weakness". Removing a function to avoid complaints about a router's performance is never good (just like COVID-19 vaccines statistics).

Reset: Yes
Status: No internet connection on workstations connected to local area (WIFI, LAN)
Errors: Totally not available internet on longest road than WAN port
I'm back to build 6/10/21, because I have big issue. Firmware is work bad. Internet is available on WAN port. I can ping external hosts via ssh, host on world too. Other services work good (DNS, NTP, switch, wifi module etc). IP from ISP appear good on GUI. Connection can't fly for workstations. I have connection timeout information, ping not request for world hosts. I'm tests on this problem. That's look like firewall build some block. I'm connect to internet, turn off security options in GUI, type iptables -F via ssh. It not solve problem. I think that is soft problem, so I'm back to OEM, flash via GUI soft 6/21/21 and problem is still. I'm back to 6/10 firmware version. So - low end devices have a problems with new DD-WRT versions. Developpers should analyze bugs.

Only problem is that some devices SoC boards aren't very accommodating for heatsinks, but you could add a cooling fan pretty easily. I see that most (all?) OEM firmwares don't show the temperature in the GUI.
I guess it is because the CPU temperature depends on the environment temperature and air flow outside & inside the router (location & orientation of router), and also there's issue with aging thermal paste/thermal pad, not to mention inconsistency during manufacturing & assembly. For computer CPUs, the temperature also depends on the type of workload, but I'm not sure if this is also applicable for router CPUs.
With so many unknown variables, showing the temp is more like asking for customers' complaints.
For DD-WRT, I appreciate the effort to make everything transparent to the end-user, but the end-user needs to decide whether that temperature is normal or not, because the developer doesn't know what kind of environment the router is operating in.
But I also hope there's at least some guideline, or hard-limit, especially for those who want to overclock.

I agree with kp69, if anyone "feels" it's a problem. I have my routers mounted vertical or on an angle with temperatures in the 50's. Air flow is key even a very small amount. the reported temp of 67.5c is hardly "hot" there are times i've seen 80-82c operating temp on my Asus RT-AC68u many times under load. Never been a problem for me over the past few years.

Issues/Errors: WAN down throughput only around 350Mbps, should be arround 600Mbps, same after factory reset. (I have the same issue with r46974)
Reverted back to v3.0-r46446 and down throughput is back to +600Mbps

In newer builds it's hard to see full internet speed. I have some good hint for fix this problem. Flash last build to your router and restore factory defaults. Make full configuration one more time. Turn on SFE feature. Overclock router to max available speed in GUI. Connect internet to WAN and leave that configuration for ~24 h. After this time log in to GUI and configure stock clock speed via GUI. Don't disconnect cord from WAN, click save option and then Apply changes. Now router is auto restart. Wait for internet back, make speedtest operation. That hint works for me on the Netgear WNR3500L v2. I don't know why router must to learn max internet speed.

Thanks for this suggestion but i think i'll stick to build r46446 for now......
Did a reset to verify this issue.
After only applying some very basic settings,
ssh, http, telnet, and dns, and possibly every port is accessible via WAN.
I only noticed because syslog was showing numerous ssh logon attempts from the outside.

Sorry guys, I was just reporting relevant information! I don't know what the TDP is for a BCM4709 but 67.5°C (153.5°F) is definitely a little warm. To put things in perspective my GTX 970 is running at 45°C (113°F)! Maybe I need to take a Dremel to the thing and remove the I/O shield and slap a heat-sink on the thing. The temperatures have increased from previous builds considerably yet the reported CPU loads have not. If you don't want to hear about it that's fine, I won't tell you! I'll figure it out on my own like I do everything else out anyways!
