I have an EA8500 with 46885 std. It shows a handy option in the NAS tab for "drive manager" to format partitions.

but my Asus RT-N66U with 46885 BIG does not have this feature.

Is that due to a limitation of the router's hardware, or is the feature missing from the "big" version of the FW build?

Thanks!

I think the drive manager is part of the raid feature and will set you back a whopping 2500 kB so it probably is not included in a lot of builds.

zfs-raid is BS's pet-project Smile

Which "big" firmware image are you running? K2.6 or K3.x? The K3.x is a ~25MB file, while the EA8500 is a ~23MB or so file.

Then there is something in the Broadcom image that is not in the Atheros image, perhaps. Or something is broken.
