everywhere with qca988x.. (ddwrt firmware, thought vanilla was doing it too but its not, and vanilla has proper tx/rx rates)
and i bet it was that on https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/46968 cause it started on that very build... (and so did bullshit tx/rx rates). i wonder what "disable ps" was.. wasnt uapsd as we still dont have that so... what powersave.. and why not users choose this. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Does the webUI configs reflect your intended configuration? There is a chance that you no longer need the startup script as the goal was to use the webUI across the board, not just on Broadcom, if I am not mistaken. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

on R7800 i have vlan's via start up, while on Broadcom R7000 i use GUI..both contain the same error in dnsmasq.conf multiple 'br'
i haven't tried R7800 GUI vlan config yet, it was working in the past... _________________ Atheros

There has been a commit not long ago where BS set all interfaces to listen to DNSMasq (normally it was only br0 and the interface you made such as br1 etc, those where added when you made them so now they are double.
will see if I can find it
The commit was ment for vpn and wg interfaces so that DNSMasq would automatically listen on those interfaces, this seems an unwanted side effect

If I am not wrong, the commands in bold above (my emphasis) place eth1.11 and eth1.21 on br1 and br2. As a result, eth1.11 and eth1.21 take on the IPs, respectively, of the bridges themselves.
The bridges, in turn, are manually assigned specific IP addresses under Setup/Networking tab in this case.
The commands in italic (again, my emphasis) therefore become redundant.
P.S. This redundancy can be easily proven by assigning, say, 192.168.111.1 to br1, and 192.168.121.1 to br2.
And eth1.11 and eth1.21 will carry the third octets of 111 and 121 instead. Even if the two italic commands are left in.
