HOME Wired Multicast ISP 4K TV Network

Router/Version: R7000
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46885 std (06/05/21)
Previous/Reset: r44483 / No, Remote CLI Update
Mode/Status: GW / Working Well
Issues/Errors: none / none
egc posted some fast throughput on a E2000 with SFE enabled and tried it as a replacement for this this R7000; but just having one 4K streaming the E2000's cpu showed only 17% idle. To make the E2000 a replacement I would have to overclock it from stock 300Mhz to at least 1Ghz, impossible. The same one 4K stream from the R7000's cpu showed 92% idle. So I'm staying with the R7000 for this task.

OffSite #1

Router/Version: R7000
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46885 std (06/05/21)
Previous/Reset: r46836 / No, Remote CLI Update

Issues/Errors: none / none

Router/Version: E3000

Previous/Reset: WRT610v1 (r33679 Mega K2.4) / Yes Router Upgrade
Mode/Status: Client-Bridge / Working Well
Issues/Errors: none / none

TESTING at Home for OffSite #2

Router/Version: R7000
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46885 std (06/05/21)
Previous/Reset: Full Reset on a spare R7000
Mode/Status: GW & AP / Working Well
Issues/Errors: none /none
This Router is NOT Deployed to Off-Site #2 yet, ironing out ISP issues.

Thank-you BrianSlyer for your Great Work and everyone else who makes DD-WRT Great on the Forum!

WAN speed is only ⅔ of previous firmware versions.

This has been the case for a couple of versions, and I can confirm that it’s the same on an EA6700.

@BrainSlayer: Is there anything we can help with in order to fix this issue?

With CTF&FA it is even considerably higher.

But CTF&FA is only available for static or DHCP WAN connection for ARM based routers and if you are not using QoS I think, otherwise you can use CTF only or use the older SFE

CTF and FASTNAT pre-date SFE. Not sure about FA, but making it seem as if CTF is something new is not truthful. I was actually surprised that something Broadcom-proprietary was (re)introduced to DD-WRT.
