Hi: wrt 1900acs Linksys; I can not open the set up page to make changes. Every time I enter the login credentials and hit enter, it send me to the same log in page over and over. Doing a factory reset do not help either. Can some one help me please. Thanks
That is usually caused (for me anyway) from security addons in the browser. Addons like NoScript, HTTPS, etc will block change communication as the router appears to be a website.
Disable or mark "Trusted" any security addons for the router site (198.168.xxx.xxx) and try again. AV apps can also block changes if the router site is not trusted.
If still no joy,try another browser. Most recommenced is Waterfox Classic with no addons just for updates/settings.

I managed to get in a similar loop with mine when actually the problem was that I was entering a username/password where password/verifyPassword belonged. Suggest leaving username as root and just picking a strong password.
I've never had any router-related issue with dd-wrt install/upgrade when using Firefox, FWIW. Been at it for 3.5 years and many builds and several WRT1900ACSv2 routers. _________________ Five Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 routers on 51530: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, client mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard servers (via AirVPN port forwarding) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN clients.

Thanks to Surprised it Works, I was filling the incorrect data in the incorrect place, finally I get in the set up page to do the changes. Thanks for the help to the others as well. Be safe
