Hello!
I have trouble with reverting back my stock fw. I tried the TFTPd method, but the router just does not appear to ask for any files, connections (Nothing in log/wireguard) (Of course im holding the reset button when router starting). The router works in DDWRT mode but i want to revert it and i dont have a serial connector so i cant do other methods.

Also i saw this post https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=325933 but sadly it didnt solve my problem Sad
Anyone willing to help solve my problem?

nvm got tftp working apparently you have to wait for power led to turn blue before pushing reset

There is also this:

https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr940n

You may need a non-managed switch in between PC/laptop and router.

1. May i know what is a non-managed switch?
2. My router boot sequence is different, it goes orange then goes blue. (Because it already has DDWRT) The thing is that when do i hold the button according to this? i can record my boot sequence since it's much different.

An standard and cheap switch, put in the middle.

The thing is the timing for tftp is very important, as there is a short window to do so. Normally from my PC I open 2 consoles: one with a continous ping, and other with the tftp waiting for enter to put the file (I had recovered many routers this way).

It appears there have been some changes, however, using the 32-bit portable version of tftpd32 (4.52 or newer) with anticipation window of 1024 is also beneficial for tftp'ing firmware images to the router. Might be time for some wiki updates.
