Configured an old wrt160nv3 router with a recent dd-wrt build in WiFi client bridge mode. Seems to work fine except that I cannot log into https web interface after enabling. Get connection refused. It is responding fine to pings to static IP I configured it with. Any reason why that should not work? Thanks.

1) Define "a recent build".

2) Are you sure you followed the client bridge wiki 100%?

3) Using https for webUI is problematic and quirky. Is there no response to telnet / ssh as well? Did you try http access?

1. Looks like was 46788.
2. Will double check everything. Note seems to be working great other than no gui.
3. Will try http. (I haven't ever had problems with https other than cert being invalid.)

Thanks.

You may wish to upgrade to the most recent (46885) to see if it has to do with some of the ongoing development.

Reset unit and tested again. Https doesn't work even in AP mode so nothing to do with wifi mode. Sorry I should have checked that first. Http worked fine in all modes. Not sure if this is expected behavior for this router. Https option is in UI so would think it should work.

That router uses a mini build. See elsewhere that there may be issues with https in those...

I think https is stripped out of mini build... I think it is just an oversite that it is still in the gui
