Is there a way to send a one-time WOL command immediately after every time the router boots up? I only need to send a magic packet to wake up the pc that's all. I have both my pc and router on a single wall switch. So, when I wake up every morning, I turn on that switch, both my laptop and router get power. The router turns on and sends a wake command, then the laptop wakes up. Can I achieve this? Use one wall switch to power on both?
EDIT: I just read thishttp://gaddgets.blogspot.com/2007/02/auto-wol-on-dd-wrt-on-linksys-wrt54gl.html. Would this work?
No
Update: I looked through older webflashes with 7zip and found that some contained /usr/sbin/wol and others didn't. The latest I found to have wol was 07-26-2019-r40439. The next version r40443 WOL was removed.
If I roll back to r40439, network drives have issues during internet outages (btw, outages are very frequent in my area and a real problem)
Great, I've reset the router and now, I can't seem to figure out how to get it to the previous settings.
I've followed https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge#Instructions this tutorial. It has a stable connection for about 2 minutes and then it shuts off internet and disconnects from the R7000
