Update method: GUI
Router/Version: Netgear R9000 Nighthawk X10
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46640 std (05/13/21)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r46604 std (05/09/21) / No

Both R9000's exhibited high load averages of 20-25% and extremely sluggish GUI. Yamon start failed with timeout errors.

Reverted to 46604 and issue went away.

Dl'd fresh 46640 and issue cleared.
YMMV

So after 12 hours on the R7800, it rebooted in the middle of the night.

Is there anyway to diagnose these seemingly random reboots, as it does not happen on all the firmwares just some.

46446 was the last one that did not do this and was up over 24 days.

It does not affect the R9000, and only difference other than firmware is the R9000 is using OpenVPN and the R7800 I am testing Wireguard.

Nothing looks unusual in syslog .

Thanks for any feedback.

Its been discussed a zillion times..do not use Chrome based browsers, as well add-ons...best bet Pale-moon, Opera, FFx, Water fox, Ghost, Vivaldi, Torch...ect

i use pale moon, FFx or opera for GUI only...and nothing else..
