I flashed no problem, and was prompted to enter a new username and password. That goes fine then I'm sent to the portal. Pressing any section either takes me to a blank cannot connect page, or briefly allows me some action before sending me to this page.

When it has me enter my new admin/password upon creating it, I can access the portal. I am able to ping the IP steadily.

30-30-30 resets everything and again I'm able to set a new password. I got further into the setting the secodn time around until promptly getting booted again.

I'm using a Netgear 7000 with the newest beta build.

When given the screen

"This site can’t be reachedThe connection was reset.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"

it doesn't ask for the login. I refreshed, etc, tried to reset 30-30-30 multiple times.

The weird thing is that in the middle of typing this, I went back to the tab and it was showing the portal again, but immediately selecting any options or navigating brings me back to the connection reset blank screen.

I'm using this CFW for security as I've been struggling with nuisanced breeches from a neighbor. I'm plugged into ethernet.

Thanks guys! Any tips?

Oh, it seems I may be in the wrong section... I assumed this to fall under general help?

Welcome to the forum

This is not the right place, but no worries I will transfer it for you.

Forums have stickies and announcements (the top of the forums) they are very informative.

See in this forum the third topic:
STOP!-READ FIRST: This area is NOT for router help! READ!

See also:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=325589, a lot of problems stem from the use of Chrome or chromium based browsers or incompatible browser extensions!!

and of course the first post:
Forum guidelines and pointers, READ THIS FIRST!
see: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324087

Latest beta can mean a lot that is why it is helpful to state the actual build number, as of today it is 46640.

30-30-30 reset is not a good idea on Broadcom Arm routers

Sounds like it could be a bad / corrupt flash. Try flashing "DD-WRT v3.0-r46446 std (04/24/21)" as it has been the latest stable build for me on my r7000 thus far.

As others have suggested... Clear your browser's cookies and cache or try different browsers to rule out any stale pages that could be causing issues. Do not do a 30-30-30 on the r7000 as it can cause more damage than good.

Also, do not intermingle router access with surfing the internet. People still do this and wonder why they have issues. #peopledonotunderstandhowbrowserswork

If you can configure login data it mean you have clean dd-wrt installation. If you have problems after type new login data you can try to 30 - 30 - 30 reset. After this you should totally clean web browser cache. Switch on your device and wait to start. Connect rj45 cable to port number 1, other ports should be empty. Open web browser and make all new configuration. Now GUI of your device should working good. I think it's problem with your web browser.

Just in case, the user is not "admin", it's "root".
