Если я установлю ddwrt на tp-link Archer C7 ver 5.0 будет openvpn client? Не хотелось бы потерять гарантию просто так на роутер, он совсем новый.

Да, клиент-серверная функциональность OpenVPN будет присутствовать на вашем Archer C7v5.

Файл factory-to-ddwrt.bin предназначен для начальной прошивки. В будущих обновлениях до более новых версий DD-WRT будет использоваться файл tplink_archer-c7-v5.bin.
