Hi there,
Is this the latest most stable build for NetGear AC1450 (New Build 44700 - 10-30-2020-r44700)?
I see folks using DD-WRT v3.0 STD 44340 as well so this got me a little confused.
Currently I am on DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/08/14) kongac - build 25100M and looking to upgrade due to serious 5 minute droppages occurring randomly throughout the day.
Thanks.
it depends...., but yep last is always the best in certain scenarios, there is no such a thing, as a "stable" build, all is in "beta" so, it wont hurt to try...
just reset and rebuild manually, do not load setting from file, especially from different builds...
Hi there,
Everything looks good so far but Status Router page slow, Status LAN page even slower (many minutes to load). Tried restarting router but had not affect.

nighthawk r7000p. Upgrade to DDwrt from factory default went well as soon as made sure disconnected from the internet (isolated, otherwise failed as unsuitable firmware).
then what a joy it has been. Smooth and fast, with all features working as default. Very impressive. I am a convert now. Minsik.

Router/Version: Netgear WNR3500L v2
Kernel: Linux 4.4.241 #4649 Fri Oct 30 13:18:57 GMT 2020 mips
Reset: No
Mode: Internet gateway and WIFI AP
Errors: Nothing significant
Status: Working
Uptime: almost 72h
Device is updated via ssh. Actually working rather good. I don't see any significant problems.
Router/Version: ASUS RT-AC68U
Reset: No
Mode: Internet gateway and WIFI AP
Status: Working
Uptime: 48h
Errors: IPTV is not working. Disabling WAN Filter Multicast won't help. IPTV still not working, but router goes crazy after couple of minutes i'm trying to watch IPTV. 5Ghz Wifi drops off first, then router becomes unreachable and requires power-off reboot to work normally again. Is there any normal way to watch iptv via dd-wrt router?
Firmware: v3.0-r44700 std (10/30/20)
Router/Version: Netgear R7000 Kernel: Linux 4.4.241 #1298 SMP Fri Oct 30 06:04:37 GMT 2020 armv7l

Reset: Soft boot before and after upgrade

Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
Updated via webif. No 'nvram erase' this time, last one was in July 2018 (r36325).
There is a minor issue with the packet count on wl0.1 and "Connected Clients" stuck at zero. The wl0 and wl1 counts seem correct.
Upload and Download speeds are good. Nothing unexpected in the syslog. GRC port probe shows "stealth".
Current basic R7000 setup (subject to change of course):
- Static WAN IP
- SFE - On
- STP - On
- IPv4 only, both WAN and LAN
- LAN DHCP Enabled
- Wireless: AP, Regulatory Domain = CANADA, wl0 Mixed (ch. 6), wl1 AC/N-Mixed (ch. 149, VHT80), AES

Reset: Hard resets before and after the upgrade to r44700
Mode/Status: Gateway, AP, DHCP server, DNSMasq
Issues/Errors: All is well, thank you.
Upgraded and configured without a problem using Firefox 68.12.0esr (64-bit) on a Linux box.
The regular (not dark) "wikar" Router GUI Style (under Administration -> Management) works well for viewing the web interface with Firefox. Pages are rendered nicely - i.e. no obscured tabs, and only the MAC-table fill-in page displayed oddly-wrapping text.
Rather than using the "SES / AOSS / EZ-SETUP / WPS Button" to toggle the radio on/off; Use the web interface by setting
Wireless-> Basic Settings -> Wireless Network Mode
to "Mixed" or "Disabled" as needed.
