I have a TP-Link Archer C7 V5 router with 04-13-2021-r46329 on it.
When I turn off the WiFi on my phone or notebook and then turn it back then the 2.4 GHz SSID appears immediately but for the 5.0 GHz SSID I have to wait more. In some cases I have to turn off and then back the WiFi.

Change channels on the 5ghz radio. I would use 149+UU or 161+LL. Channel 120 is used for weather radar...worst possible channel to use....your client has to wait for the router to broadcast it's signal again which it can wait up to 1 minute for....The client is not allowed to ask the router for permission for channels 116-132. _________________ FORUM RULES

Just realize that even if you change the router to use a different country for better TX pwr, your client is likely "smart" and will assign the local country based off GPS, sim card, or language selection. This means that the client is still required to operate under that table of TX values back to the router...clients almost always are power limited to 21dbm (125mW) any way under best case scenarios. So even if your router can push the signal farther, your client will be the limiting device. _________________ FORUM RULES
