2.4G (HT20, g/n mixed mode)
STAs: Sonos appliances in g mode + macbook / android tablet in n mode
Performance: consistent and acceptable for my purposes.
5G (VHT80+80, ac/n mixed mode)
STAs: mixture of laptops, tablets and TVs in ac (80) & n (20/40) modes
Performance: very strong upload, but download is reduced by 30%+ in both n and ac modes, compared to broly's 46315M release using the proprietary firmware.
How would I see the raw wireless stats?
With the proprietary firmware I used the following command:
Quote:
iwpriv rai0 stat
but in this release I only get the response: "wlan0 no private ioctls."
Load average seems to be significantly higher than 46315M, which is consistent at 0.05 or less in the same conditions & settings.

Please provide more information than this. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack to even guess what the issue is. Refer to the OP:

After kind of heavy usage on NAS (copy-pasting of thousand of audio files), credentials for accessing NAS rejected after a while (or may be NAS just not responding anymore ?). However, that's an old issue, experienced with older builds.
EDIT: Happened 4 times in a row, impossible to import 10k music title to itunes without NAS stop responding
EDIT 2: also heavy load (only reboot make nas accessible again)
EDIT 3: Load going up even though not using NAS anymore. Can't reboot now, will do it later
EDIT 4: Those are the messages in syslog before the issue:

So glad my clipboard hadn't been cleared. I moved your edit 3 up to the other post for a reason. If you added anything to the post I deleted in the process, that is out of my hands. Leave it all in one post, please. Thank You. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

A little update about the samba issue: After struggling to add the music stored on nas (EXT4 connected to DIR-882) to itunes library, i think that i achieved a small stability improvment by enforcing SMB 2.10 (set as min and max in service settings). I could add my music by small "packets" of 400 MB while ensuring that CPU usage don't go above 4-5 %, because if it goes above certain threshold, it don't stop increasing untill it reaches 100%, even if i stop any activity on NAS.
