Anyone have any news on firmware for this Broadcom based router?

TP-Link Archer C1200 V1.0 using Broadcom BCM47189B0...NOT to be confused with Archer C5, C7, C8 or C9.

This is a cheap, moderate performance AC1200 router, often supplied by Internet Providers.

Chipset: Broadcom BCM47189B0 (900Mhz)
Switch: Broadcom BCM53125S
RAM: 128MB
Flash: 16MB

Thanks for any info or suggestions...

A hardware donation and/or certain information forwarded to the developer is required to add a supported device:

https://dd-wrt.com/donations/

https://dd-wrt.com/router-detection/

Keep in mind that Broadcom is not a high priority, and if the stock firmware is cryptographically locked, it will probably not get supported.

I am pretty sure the developer will need to grab the firmware files from https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c1200/v1/#Firmware and binwalk them, but ideally, a hardware donation would be ideal:

https://dd-wrt.com/donations/

Not sure if there is anyone who has already pulled a full flash dump on one of these, but that may also help, too. Adding a device isn't a simple matter, there is some magic voodoo required.

A donation is needed.

My friend got one and the stock firmware keeps it reboot every 2 or 3 hours.

Good evening all,

I've got an Archer C1200 v1 and I've got a root shell. If any of the devs want me to run commands, dump nvram partitions, or anything else, let me know.

If other's want root... all it takes is a usb and a bit of time (https://github.com/4v3ngR/c1200_root_shell)

Boot log, fullflash dump, and hope the lead developer is even interested. Last time I mentioned anything Broadcom (Archer C9v5)... well.
