I can't find definitive information on this device. There are no similar TP-Link MediaTek devices currently supported. Good internal photos / Hardware donation / fullflash dump / serial boot log required to add this device.

https://dd-wrt.com/donations/

https://dd-wrt.com/router-detection/

I couldn't find much information on this device:

https://forum.openwrt.org/t/need-firmware-for-tl-wr845n-v4/55224

https://forum.openwrt.org/t/tp-link-wr845n-v4/35802

And the only FCCID information I found was for the (V1 and) V3:

The only 'similar' devices currently supported are all Qualcomm Atheros. Without a serial dump of logs and fullflash, there isn't much that can be done other than binwalk the stock firmware or see if there is a GPL tarball, but without a device in hand, the developer can only do a blind port, which may more may not work as expected.

More info on the V3: https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/TP-LINK_TL-WR845N_v3.x

Hello, is it possible to make firmware for TL-WR845N V4 now? Another device, TL-WR841N V14, is the same device. These two devices( TL-WR845N V4 & TL-WR841N V14) are perfectly booted with the same firmware. That means if support one model, the other model must be supported. I hope the two new devices have been added officially. Thank you

There was never a fullflash / bootlog dump or anything else provided in this thread, and I doubt anyone has sent either of those to the developer. Neither are currently supported by DD-WRT. The following links are for reference only:

I will provide everything what needs to make the firmware support TL-WR845N v4 to DD-WRT. Tell me the process of how I can get the data from me to the developer. Tell me how to get the "full flash/boot log dump" data I can find and the process. I will provide it as soon as possible. Thank you

I found some online information.

Do a web search for reverse engineering wireless router or dumping flash u-boot. You will need to establish serial console access to the SoC to dump the flash contents or boot log.

I try to manage the EEPROM clips to collect a complete serial dump. But unfortunately, I failed. On the other hand, I found that WR845N-v4 is running on WR841N-v14's official firmware without any issues. I also found online the WR841N-v14 unmodified u-boot bin file. Is it possible to make test firmware for WR845N-v4 using WR841N-v14's u-boot? I have attached the links below.

Cool. I found WR841N-v14 firmware dump bin

Then it's 4/32 as suspected vs. being 8/64 like the v13 of the TL-WR841N.

I think it's no problem WR845N-v4 is 4/32 device. Ignore the WR841N-v13 device. Just use the u-boot and other information that you need. And make the firmware 4/32 device. WR841N-v14 is also 4/32 device. Please please, help make firmware for these two devices. All the test firmware I test and get feedback.

I also attached the dump file here.
