Would any of the gurus be interested in working on this issue (post 44048 iOS/Mac issues for the wrt3200acm) if I were to donate a router? I just picked up an r9000 and will likely never use my 3200acm again.

The issue may not be only having a router, but also having an environment (combination of connected devices) that triggers the issue.

(I've been eyeballing an r9000 for the same reason, heh)

If you're just going to give it away, sure.

Send me a private message with whatever details I need to get it to you. I haven’t received my r9000 yet so it may take a week or two. I’m hoping this will help solve the issues or at least lead to a solution.

Thanks,

And this went dead-ended as I don't have a second WRT3200ACM in-house to test DD-WRT with; the one I do have in-house is running PureFusion OpenWRT currently. To reiterate on other conversations as well as communication with BrainSlayer, there's not much else that can be done outside of maybe removing the functionality of the DFS detection interface altogether to see if that helps.

I will say this, though; the "smoking gun" is figuring out the functionality of the current driver and what settings work or break things. Not knowing what has been modified (if anything) in the code being used in DD-WRT has it's disadvantages.

Maybe the problem is this? https://www.sniffwifi.com/2016/05/go-to-sleep-go-to-sleep-go-to-sleep.html

I'm experimenting right now with DTIM = 3. Having this issue with R7000, R7800 and R8000 routers, all different chips.
