Is there a way to revert back to using ntfs-3g instead of antfs? I was on an old build that has ntfs-3g and it was working fine but decided to upgrade to the latest and found out it goes into a boot loop. Long story short I found out that the new antfs driver is not as good as the old ntfs-3g. Any write operation to the mounted ntfs usb partition with antfs just reboots the router. Reverted the router back to the old build, fixed the problem and ntfs usb partition was writable again.

Is there a way to disable antfs and manually load ntfs-3g with a kernel module or something?

When posting it is helpful if you state router model and build number

antfs was only used for a short while, now the kernel ntfs driver is used in most routers (there are exceptions)

Usually it is not the ntfs driver (at least in the latest versons) which is the problem but the samba client.

That said the ntfs volume must be clean otherwise the ntfs driver will play nasty.

But I think they are all kernel modules so you can load and unload them as you please Smile
