Forgot to mention that my son has been facing issues installing games from Steam, Blizzard.
He's getting
cannot connect to servers on his machines - desktop and laptop.
Started happening after upgrade, didn't happen before.
Could be a coincidence with Windows updates.

I'm assuming you don't have a teen in your household.
They can wear anyone down

don't give him any more ideas please
He was downstairs connecting directly to the router till I put the router on a shelf just a feet below the ceiling.
new teen, I'm sure as he grows, he'll have other ideas that we'll have to live with..

Got it..
He's the primary reason for me to go back to the prior version since he's been complaining that my upgrade to the router seems to have messed up everything.
Doing this to convince him that perhaps it's Windows updates and not router upgrade. sigh.

Found some more info on issues with Windows Update and Outlook and Games
On Windows 10, I had to turn off Automatic Detect Settings under Settings->Network->Proxy
The only thing still not working is games from Steam. Still getting error about Steam not able to connect to Server.
Is there some Firewall/Proxy setting on dd-wrt that needs to be looked into?
Thanks

This is definitely one of the recent posts I remember regarding this, there are others that I didn't do so well participating in, but...

Thanks, I'm looking into those.
One point that I've come across is Privoxy. Apparently, under 41813, it was enabled and now in the latest build, it is Not. Some suggest that Steam might be saving this 8118 port info somewhere.

Now that all other software seems to be running and as a result eliminated the need to downgrade, wondering if you folks suggest any other setting change from the previous one.
If not, then I'll just wait for the next stable build
