Laughing

Sorry don't bother me, but I have a R7800 and a R7000 router, and every time I download a new firmware I almost make the error to copy the wrong url/download wrong file because the "factory to DD-WRT" and "upgrade" names/builds are inverted Laughing

Is it possible to have for all the routers/builds a fix order? I know that's a silly question but it's a bit annoying Laughing

Thanks devs Cool

Doubt any change, so adapt or save URL to a clearly named text file and update only date and build number.

The files are in alphabetical order. The only way it'd probably change is if the output file name(s) from the compile / build recipe were to change. They are uploaded to the public download server in the same order they are populated on the build server.

We. Fear. Change.

Upgrade with CLI is much easier to see if anything fails.

I'm not quite connecting the relevance here, but if you're going to suggest that,
at least suggest easyddup a simple upgrade/downgrade utility since CLI will
still require copying and pasting the proper firmware file link.

I remember ddup with Kong's builds, was a great tool, but if I install it on a BS's build, I have to reinstall it every new release? (I've never reinstalled it because I thought this)

That's my issue, every time I have to check it two times Smile

Focus to the last part of a link's file name. webflash or webupgrade? .bin? The problems of the first world.

If you already have CLI Flash examples saved in a text file, only need to edit the date and build number.

I use the CLI flash but I have to copy the link every time, I make more errors by entering the correct date/build than copy/paste the link, if there were no date obn the folders would have been easy but I'm also european with a different months-days format, so no way Laughing

Right click .bin, copy, paste. It is a miracle of modern science. Use ftp link to avoid removing "s" from https.

Damn, I know it's simply but usually I upgrade both my routers together and when I search of the website I must copy first link in the folder for the R7800 and second on the R7000. I always have fear to invert the things, nothing too bad, I was just asking if the webflash and web upgrade files, can be alway in the same order...

If not, as I understood, I'll continue to put more attention when I upgrade Wink

Do not understand a problem as I focus my eyes on ".bin" and "r7000" is in file name so nothing to confuse.

You need a usb stick and put it in /opt/easyddup/ and you're all set forever unless there's a new feature/fix you want. If you liked kong's ddup then you'll like easyddup for BS builds.
