pointless commit r45727 ruining ng-mixed, make sure to override it manually...
can you expand on that a little further? I have no idea how to override it. I’m still running 2020 builds but willing to try your work around if that’s what you are suggesting. Thank you in advance

I'll let him comment on the "fix" when using the dd-wrt wifi driver.
otherwise, use the vanilla driver and you won't need to run the fix. _________________ FORUM RULES

thats hostapd controlled telling the driver, unlikely to matter if its ddwrt fw or vanilla, but i cant test that cause the wireless basic settings page crashes httpd on x86_64 instantly.. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

no reset..
yep for some reason GUI is glitch'y since some builds...
I've no problems with other GUI's R7000 is fine as well 1043v2.. _________________ Atheros

Tried this but made no difference, still can't see 5ghz using AC/N Mixed, reverted to mixed and 5ghz shows up.

This seems to already have been reported but I'll add my 2 cents worth. I don't know what actually killed 2 of my routers but the issue is the same. I turned on a 5 GHz virtual AP and a 2.4 GHz AP and both routers died. The lights for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz are on but the routers no longer function. The only way I could get them to work again was to reflash and restore to the settings I had before I activated the 5 G vap and 2.4 G ap. These 2 routers are normally operated as 5 GHz WDS Stations. I know there's a newer firmware available and I hope it fixes this issue. I probably won't get to flash the WDS AP with the newer firmware until tomorrow morning though.
