WebUI upgrade over r45592
NO reset
For some reason the WebUI works fine via wired LAN and via 5ghz, but will only partially load via 2.4ghz... is it just me? Same problem with r45592, but worked fine with r44786.
I also run YAMon3.4.7 and it behaves the same as the WebUI. In addition YAMon will not autostart on bootup, I have to go back an run the script manually. pretty sure it didn't autostart in r44786 either, and that was the first version of DD-WRT I've run on the EA8500.
No problem with my EA8500 some things you might check:
Although this is for the R7800 which has slightly different drivers the same might apply for the EA8500.
My older Samsung Pro 10.1 tablet can no longer connect when using N/G mixed after build 44715 (44719).
It can connect at Mixed settings but is then really slow only a few Mb/s although the speed on this latter build is better.
So check if you are using N/G mixed and if Mixed works better.
Other thing, some Chrome (or Chromium ) based browsers do not always play nice with DDWRT, granted you would expect to also have problems when using wired but you never know
Regarding the startup of Yamon, I guess it should start from your USB stick/drive.
Recent builds are kind of slow mounting the USB drive so the startup scripts, trying to start frorm the USB drive, do not run unless you wait for the USB drive to mount.
You can just add sleep 20 to wait for 20 seconds or run a built-in program that checks when the USB drive is mounted:

Issues/Errors: Yes, PPTP will not connect from the Internet (WAN) to the PPTP server, but will connect from the LAN. Not sure which release this started as it’s seldom used. _________________ Netgear XR500, R7800

i changed back the default clock to 1700 in current internal build since you had problems with it. the increase of the clock was the result of some tests with my unit. i was even able to increase it to 2300. but i do just allow 2000 so far.
is the cpu clock supposed to be something else other than 1700mhz for the r9000? Mine says 1700mhz... it always has...
---nvm---
I just updated from the 11/24/2020 brainslayer firmware for the R9000 and yes, now mine says 2000mhz....
New question:
Did my R9000 just get a 300mhz cpu clock OC boost? If so, that is awesome!!
yes. since 2 - 3 weeks the device was running with 2000 mhz. you can change the clock speed at the administration->management tab. i now reverted the default speed back to 1700. but you still can set manually a higher clock speed
FWIW, I’m running the 1/31/2021 r45632 firmware on the R9000 and it stays at 2000mhz with zero problems whatsoever. It also stays at 2000mhz when I reboot. im afraid to update it to the latest version as some people are having issues with getting it set to 2000mhz and having it hold the clock speed even after rebooting. i always have two external 120mm computer case fans mounted and blowing air at my r9000, and temps never go higher than 45c (usually around 38-40c).
my download and upload speeds have never been faster. when accessing the menus in my air purifiers iOS app, the response time is literally cut in half. also on speedtest.net i now consistently get 600mbps download and 550mbps upload from an iPhone XS.
If you can let me know if its safe to update to the latest version or when to expect a firmware version that allows 2000mhz (higher would be welcomed) that would be much appreciated. Thanks again for your continued work. If you could also link me a paypal donation link or if you have Zelle or Bank of America please send me a private message so i could give you something as a thank you for all the years of firmwares ive downloaded from your ftp site and all the various routers ive owned that benefited from the dd wrt firmware. cheers.
