so i have in perfect shape laying around this wifi router
Amped Wireless ALLY-R1900

accordingly to
http://en.techinfodepot.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Amped_Wireless_ALLY-R1900
https://deviwiki.com/wiki/MediaTek_MT7615

the chipset used is MediaTek MT7621AT (dual-core 880MHz)
which is same as in D-Link DIR-882 etc.
that one is listed on https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#D-Link

the ALLY-R1900 has 16MB flash and 16MB RAM so mini/std should be fine, maybe big it depends on bloat

note:

Both R1900 and DIR-882use the same MediaTek CPU, radios
tho ALLY-R1900 only implements 3 of 4 tx/rx chains/ spatial streams offered by the MT7615N for 802.11ac.

ALLY-R1900 max. ~1300Mbps 802.11ac on 5GHz while DIR-882 or DIR-878 supports 1733Mbps link rates

... it seems the 'manufacturer is dead` or decided to not support it
while supposedly 2018-01-22 firmware 1.10.02 with KRACK fix exist
yet those recent files are missing from any of theirs website(s)
i got 5 older firmware .bin files (~12MB) for analysis if anyone is curious

of course it also has always-on the obsolete build of dnsmasq Sad

thus i was wondering if DD-WRT has the power to keep it alive and if i can help somehow?
