That was hopeful wishing and WRT1200AC. Feel free to ignore command line, will never solve the problem.

I never specified that post as a problem, not offended you are stubborn and ignoring the 1900 series advice.

As I said, WRT1200 thread was wishful thinking to test if GUI set up works for 1900 series.

so if command line wont solve the issue, what would be the solution to solve the mysterious case of vlan 35 on dd-wrtacs v2?

i did not ignore command line (as i was told earlier) and things worked the way it should be

here is the code

swconfig dev switch0 set reset 1
swconfig dev switch0 set enable_vlan 1
swconfig dev switch0 vlan 1 set ports "6 0 1 2 3"
swconfig dev switch0 vlan 2 set ports "5 4t"
swconfig dev switch0 vlan 2 set vid 35
swconfig dev switch0 set apply
