Im using the latest great work of brolys(4.14.199 and DD-WRT v44481), but after changing routers ip to 192.168.0.1, i cannot access GUI via wifi at all anymore .. Same time, i can use its wifi and internet just fine, only GUI is missing.

Did few resets, first thing i changed, was routers ip and POOOF, gui disappears :/

what is the latest brolly mod that works properly as a wifi AP? is there a link? I cant figure out the repo in the first post. Embarassed

Trying to go through this entire thread... Any way to assign static leases?

Clicking "Add" doesn't add the row like I'm used to. I use DD-WRT specifically for this functionality.

Where should I post feedback on specific Broly releases? This thread is continually updated on the 2nd post, but the situation keeps evolving (positively, mostly) and it's getting hard to understand what applies to what.

I would rather not post in the official release thread, as Broly's version may be sufficiently different from BS's that the issues we find may not be applicable to it.

New DD-WRT user here, I have a question.

If I want to switch to broly's custom DD-WRT firmware then do I flash only the webflash.bin or I need to flash factory to ddwrt-se.bin and then webflash?

For initial flash from stock D-Link firmware, you use the factory-to-ddwrt.bin file; to upgrade to a newer version of DD-WRT, you use the dlink-dir882-a1-webflash.bin file.

You better use official build. this dev doesnt response if you ask or bugs, and if you want to use vlan , better avoid this latest build

You better use official build. this dev doesnt response if you ask or bugs, and if you want to use vlan , better avoid this latest build


This firmware fixed my 5Ghz connectivity issues but QoS seems to be not working.

Has anybody got the openVPN server to run? I can't seem to change the protocol or any of the cipher settings.

It looks like the server starts, but there's no config.

Yeah, i followed that. The thing is that I can't change the settings of the encryption cipher or data cipher. It just jumps back to CHACHA20-POLY1305.

I want the encryption cipher to change to AES-256-GCM but as soon as I hit the "Save" button it jumps back to CHACHA20-POLY1305.

Yeah, I just reported the bug.

Right now i'm working on a workaround and see if I can get the openvpn daemon/server configured by CLI.

The wireless AP of this build is super stable compared to the regular builds. So i rather not want to switch to that.
