|
Hello,
I'm having some difficulty configuring my travel router to use a wired cable as the WAN source rather than wireless.
Hardware:
TP-Link TL-WR710N v1
Atheros AR9330 v1 rev 1.1
Firmware:
DD-WRT v3.0-r29147
Desired Config:
wired input to the "WAN/LAN" port
Use the device as a router and provide DHCP over wireless
Current config:
Uses the wireless as the WAN source
functioning as the router and providing DHCP over wireless
I've tried a number of configurations, but I'm not having any luck. "Assign WAN Port to Switch" in NOT checked. My understanding of that feature is that checking the box will make that port a standard switch port rather than a WAN port. Am I mistaken?
Can anyone advise me on how to configure the device correctly? Thanks! |
