Good day to all fellow forum members

I am an IT industry novice but hobbyist. Where can I download dd-wrt extra kernel [3.10.37] modules my system runs asus_rt-ac68u-firmware.trx , build 23940. Specific modules I’m looking for are video drivers v4l1 & v4l2 especially v4l2loopback. Kindly help.

Regards, Zingisa

I didn't want to create a new thread since this one looks exactly what I was looking for.

Is there a way to get or build extra kernel modules for Broadcom Cortex A9 (current kernel 4.4.236)?

Sure, Linux is open-source you can cross compile the kernel modules yourself.

So, you mean, if I take vanilla kernel 4.4 and compile a module using Cortex A9 toolchain - that will work with the DDWRT Broadcom ARM builds? Ok, will try that

Well I have a modified toolchain (from OpenWRT Smile ) for K4.4 /Broadcom-Arm A9 and I compile with that using the DDWRT source with its Kernels and that is how I compile DDWRT and additional Kernel modules.

When I have time I have build some modules for other users Smile

Would be great if you could document how you are compiling, that would help more users to build custom kernel modules that are not included with DDWRT
