Have twice flashed from 45000 back to 44048 (which has been most stable recent build for me). Both times, after restart, was unable to reach the gui.

Had a heck of a time swapping partitions via reset on/off only to end up back in the same place. So wanted ideas before I go thru the process again.

I've never had to reset settings on flash but certainly if that gives me the best chance of a successful outcome, I certainly can.

Other ideas or easier way to swap partitions when gui is unreachable are appreciated

Fairly simple setup. Static ip without dhcp running.

Thanks

at build 44910 BS changed the wireless naming and bunked the ability to revert back without doing a factory reset first.

You need to do a factory reset and clear out the nvram parameters and then you should be good to go to older builds.

This will be the case for any build newer than 44910. You will always have to factory reset to go back.

It would be a good idea to save your older workking build configuration. Always only load that specic build configuration. Do not use a different build save to restore or you risk spawning nvram gremlins.

Thanks much. At least what I'm seeing makes sense now and you've told me to move forward.

Appreciate the help!
