Main Router: Netgear r-6700v3
WAP: Asus RT-AC66U
This has all been new to me and I have learned a lot, thanks to the great guides, friendly help on here, and hours of tinkering and learning. Before I go to in depth I want to know if what I'm asking is even possible. Currently I have a primary router and WAP/VAP setup. My private wireless network and guest networks are separate. The one thing that I wanted to do was separate a home security system that is hardwired into the WAP. I was trying to read about vlans (unsure if this would work on a WAP) or if there was any way to do this. Thanks. |
