Model: Archer C9 V.3 EU
I downloaded the newest beta firmware from dd-wrt:
1) archer-c9v3-webflash.bin 24-Nov-2020 13:55
2) factory-to-ddwrt.bin
Log in (192.168.0.1) -> System -> Firmware
I then chose 'factory-to-ddwrt.bin', everything seemed to work. It loaded, and then router rebooted by itself.
Now my LAN doesn't work, no internet. I get a SSID on my wifi that says "dd-wrt". But when I connect, I still get no internet. I have no way to connect to dd-wrt homepage and install the newest c9v3-webflash.bin.
Is my router completely bricked? Or is there some possible chance to restore it?
I have tried a factory reset but nothing changes.
Thought things would be simplier than this.. Biggest mistake, even tho this was my spare router.
Please help!

Maybe something here can help you get it recovered and working again.

The v3 (and v4?) has a recovery mode built into the CFE. You shouldn't have to TFTP, it has a web page recovery. Before you go too far into it via serial, post a serial boot log of what is going on currently to see if there is an issue in the firmware image you loaded on it. This will help the developer. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

I have tried CFE/webpage recovery, but can't access 192.168.0.1 even after changing the static ip as they shown. Tried with Chrome/Edge/Explorer just keeps loading until it times out. Whatever factory-to-ddwrt.bin did must've overwritten something.
Seems I have no other choice of going via serial. If I have understood things correctly.
1) Set static 192.168.0.66 / 255.255.255.0
2) Solder TX/RX/GND wire onto the pcb
3) Connect USB-TX <-> PCB-RX, and USB-RX <-> PCB-TX, USB-GND <-> PCB-GND
3) Open Putty -> Serial -> Set baudrate 115200, databits 8, stop bits 1, parity none, flow control none.
4) Connect via COMXX, (press ctrl-c until it's finished?)
You want me to copy-paste the booting sequence/log that will show on putty here, before I try and do the C9-V3-Fix-R5.bin recovery?

Yes, please.
Alright now I'm making some progress, can at least connect via serial. I'm not sure what you are after, so I attached a .txt file with everything down below.
Any thoughts? Is there something that can be done?
